EU funding for wastewater infrastructure development in Prebold
As part of the project, a new urban wastewater collection system will be constructed in agglomeration Prebold. The 1,542-meter network will include 1,341 meters of gravity sewer, 201 meters of pressure sewer, and one pumping station. The investment will help expand the area’s wastewater infrastructure and improve overall service quality while ensuring that 73 residents are newly connected to the public wastewater collection and treatment system.
The project aims to improve wastewater infrastructure and ensure full compliance with the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive. By reducing environmental pollution and protecting groundwater, it will contribute to a cleaner environment and a better quality of life for the Prebold residents.
The €1,021,011.67 project will be implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. It will receive €522,378.71 from the European Regional Development Fund. The beneficiary of the funds will be the Municipality of Prebold.
