Meeting of the Slovenian Minister of Foreign affairs Tanja Fajon and the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh during the 59th Munich Security Conference
On 18 February 2023 the Republic of Slovenia and Mongolia celebrated the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations countries maintain friendly relations and develop cooperation in bilateral and multilateral fields.
Ministers for Foreign Affairs of both countries met during the recent 59th Munich Security Conference in February 2023.
With a view to continued friendship and business cooperation a "Slovenian Day" was organised in Ulaanbaatar with the presentation of the letters of credence by Ambassador Alenka Suhadolnik in April 2022.
The Chambers of Commerce of both countries established cooperation in 2022 during the business delegation of Mongolian companies to Ljubljana in October 2022 organized by Slovenian Honorary Consul Dr. Bolormaa Batbayar.
