State Secretary Žbogar visits Saudi Arabia

State Secretary Samuel Žbogar, accompanied by a Slovenian business delegation, attended a Saudi-Slovenian business forum, organised at the Association of Saudi Chambers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir.

In their bilateral talks, State Secretary Žbogar and Minister of State Al Jubeir reaffirmed good relations and cooperation between the two countries and underscored the importance of further enhancing the ties, especially in the economic sector. They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, the war in Ukraine and the Western Balkans.
The visit of State Secretary Žbogar in Saudi Arabia coincides with the period of highly increased trade exchange between the countries.
