At the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Ljubljana, he expressed sincere condolences to UK Prime Minister Liz Truss, the royal family, the British nation and the nations of Commonwealth.

The Prime Minister wrote the following in the Book of Condolences in honour of Britain’s Queen: “To Her Majesty with all my heart. Respect.”

The Queen’s dedication to serving the community was reflected in her extraordinary reign and has contributed to her legacy as one of the greatest contemporary political personalities. As a head of state, she consistently promoted a sense of community, humanity and compassion. The Queen was a great friend of Slovenia who will for ever remain in our hearts.
