State Secretary Kirbiš Rojs at the business breakfast on grants for businesses in 2022

State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs attended an online business breakfast where the participants discussed grants for businesses in 2022.

The online event with 1000 participants took place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and was organised by the corporate advisory agency Tiko-pro. The event focused on three topics, namely Cohesion Policy presentation, upcoming calls for proposals and the European calls for proposals awarding grants in 2022.  

In her introductory address, State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs spoke about the funding available for business under the Recovery and Resilience Plan. She also presented the Programme for the period 2021-2027 which allocates a quarter of the available EU funding to economy by also underlining the priorities, namely RDI project, support to SME, digitalisation, energy efficiency, etc.  

Within the second topic, Martina Andrelič, representative of the organisation Tiko-pro, presented the open and upcoming calls for proposals for grants and loans for businesses. The following calls for proposals were presented: call for proposals for investing in high-quality and sustainable reshaping of Slovenia’s tourism to enhance its resilience, strengthening brands in foreign markets through showrooms, individual appearances of companies in fairs abroad, vouchers, loans for mitigating the consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic for the economy, Eco Fund, public call for proposals for digital transformation of companies, call for proposals for supporting investments to enhance wood processing to accelerate transition into climate-neutral society, call for proposals for micro incentives in the wood processing industry, etc.   

In the frame of the last topic of the business breakfast, Kristina Kočet Hudrap, the owner of the organisation Tiko-pro, presented the financial incentives for projects in the field of science and research. In her introduction, she presented the project development stages and how to create an innovative idea that surpass the techniques available on the market. She presented the upcoming calls for proposals 2022/2023 for research and development at national and international level, namely the co-financing research and innovation projects from TRL 6 to TRL 9, co-financing of investments in RDI demonstration and pilot projects, Eureka, Eurostars, EIC Accelerator 2022, EIC Pathfinder 2021, etc.     

We then came to a close of the event and that was attended by three interesting participants that gave useful advice to companies and entrepreneurs in 2022. Did you join us?
