Prime Minister Janez Janša holds talks with the Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen
Today, Prime Minister Janša held a video conference call with the Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen.
The talk was held ahead of the upcoming Asia-Europe meeting (ASEM). Currently at the helm of the ASEM, Cambodia will host the 13th Summit of European and Asian leaders. The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) is an intergovernmental process initiated in 1996 to foster dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe. Taking all of the ASEM Partners combined, they represent 65 % of the global economy, 60 % of the global population, 55 % of global trade and 75 % of global tourism. The ASEM Summit will be held from 25 to 26 November 2021.
The two heads of government also talked about their common goal of strengthening bilateral relations, discovering that there was considerable potential for economic collaboration.
