Prime Minister Janez Janša meets with the President of the Republic of Latvia
In Ljubljana, Prime Minister Janša today met with Latvian President Egils Levits, who is on an official visit to Slovenia at the invitation of Slovenian President Borut Pahor.
Slovenia and Latvia enjoy a close relationship and are on good terms, and there are no outstanding issues between them. The two countries share common European values and are committed to the rule of law, solidarity, effective multilateralism, human rights and the fight against climate change.
Prime Minister Janša and President Levits exchanged views on current European and international issues and the COVID-19 situation in Europe.
