The main topics of the talks included the priorities of Slovenia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The participants debated the future of Europe, climate change and resilience. State Secretary Dovžan stressed the importance of sufficient vaccination coverage to successfully contain the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics such as the importance of the European Green Deal, relations between the EU and the United Kingdom, the EU as a global player, democratic values and the promotion of science education were also discussed.
