The conference was attended by a large number of Slovenian and foreign panellists, including representatives of states, international organisations, various companies, institutions and academia. The participants were addressed by Minister of Public Administration Boštjan Koritnik and Acting Director of the Government Information Security Office Uroš Svete.

In his closing speech, State Secretary Raščan stressed that the priorities of the Slovenian EU Council Presidency include strengthening the EU's cyber resilience and cybersecurity crisis management. Slovenia is keen to encourage an approach to cybersecurity in keeping with its presidency's slogan: "Together. Resilient. Europe." The importance of such an approach was recognised by the conference, with the participants underlining the need for increasing the cyber resilience of critical infrastructure and establishing an effective mechanism to prevent and respond to cyber crises, thus safeguarding the European way of life. In this context, collaboration and involvement of all relevant stakeholders are crucial to achieving a truly comprehensive and well-coordinated approach to cybersecurity, which is increasingly emerging as an important strategic and political issue.
