  • Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Industrial-Business Zone Steklarna – TKI Hrastnik. The Municipality Hrastnik will implement the EUR 4 million project under the Agreement on the Development of the Zasavje Region. European Regional Development Fund contribution stands at nearly EUR 2.5 million.

As part of the project, Municipality Hrastnik will establish public infrastructure in the Industrial-Business Zone Steklarna – TKI Hrastnik thus enabling the construction of new premisses for businesses and establishing favourable conditions for doing business for small and medium-sized enterprises. The project will thus result in establishing 1.9 hectares of building land with the relevant road infrastructure, namely water supply system, sewerage, pipeline, public parking facilities for companies, and access roads giving access to building land within the zone.

With the said investment, Municipality Hrastnik will raise the value of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Municipality and promote entrepreneurship.
