  • Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved funding for the project Road and utility infrastructure in the industrial-service zone Šentjernej Fairgrounds. The EUR 820,000 project will be implemented by the Municipality Šentjernej and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund standing at nearly EUR 440,000.

As part of the project, municipal authorities plan to develop utility infrastructure, associated equipment and other site service infrastructure. The fully serviced site will ensure conditions that allow various entities to run business, grow and create job opportunities. To this end, a total of nine large buildings will be constructed to accommodate service or industrial activities with the associated infrastructure in place. The municipality will get a 2.88-hectare large fully serviced site allowing economic and industrial operators to perform their activities once the project is completed.
