  • Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ESIF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a financial support decision for the project “Municipal infrastructure and upgrading the Muta Industrial Zone”. The project worth EUR 528,000 will be implemented by the Municipality Muta and will receive nearly EUR 369,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

The project will result in establishing municipal infrastructure in the unregulated area of the Muta Industrial Zone. By doing so, appropriate conditions for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will be established for doing business and, consequently, creating new jobs and increasing the added value of companies.

The investment will focus on arranging an access road, establishing a meteor sewer and sewage system, public lighting, electric lines and broadband telecommunications infrastructure. The built infrastructure will be connected to the existing infrastructure which has already received EU funding in the past. In terms of its functionality, the new infrastructure is designed so that it enables the maximum use of the existing area and increases spatial inclusion of the entire area.
