Meeting of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)

Mr Uroš Svete, the Slovenian representative in the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), today, on 16 October 2019, attended the regular ENISA meeting at the Agency's head office in Athens.

The Management Board took note of the report on the implementation of the 2019 programme and key tasks related to the implementation of the Cyber Security Act. It also discussed the programme document for the 2020–22 period. Although the programme has not yet been adopted, the main tasks of the Agency will certainly include ICT certification and further enforcement of the NIS Directive.

After ten years in office, Udo Helmbrecht from Germany handed over his duties as Executive Director to his successor, Juhan Lepassaar from Estonia.
