UK market is one of the key markets for Slovenia in terms of tourism. “The airline is of great importance for continuing the positive trend in the number of the guests from the UK, who generated 470,000 overnight stays in 2018, which is 10 percent more than in 2017," explained Msc. Maja Pak, Director of the Slovenian Tourist Board, and added: "We are delighted that the largest British airline launched a new route to Slovenia and connected Ljubljana airport to the largest and most frequent British airport Heathrow, which also boasts the largest number of transatlantic flights. Thus, the establishment of this link is also of great importance for increasing the accessibility of Slovenia to travellers from distant markets."
