156th regular session of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia
At today's session, the Government adopted the proposed Climate Act, a development opportunity for Slovenia, its people, and businesses. It approved the proposed amendments to the Construction Act, adapting the issuing of permits to the needs of modern times. The Government also took note of the planned signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the State of Palestine on the development of relations between the two countries.

Request Made to Archduke Charles II for the Transfer of the Fief Holding after the Sale of the Part of the Fief-Based Tithe in Draga on the Sora Plain
Archival fonds of the Carniolan Provincial Commission for Fief-Related Matters includes documents created between the second half of the 13th and the early 19th century and consists mostly of transcripts of various charters, which are important for understanding fief-based relationships. They can also help clarify many dilemmas found in both noble and non-noble genealogies. We believe that the recently completed inventory of this fonds will encourage the use of this interesting material.

Meeting with Deputy Governor of Styria
State Secretary Marko Štucin received the Deputy Governor of Styria, Manuela Khom. During the meeting, the State Secretary spoke favourably of the halt of the procedure for the constitutional amendment in the Provincial Government of Styria. The amendments included the addition of the controversial Styrian anthem, which mentions the Slovenian territory.

Joint Statement by Slovenia and the Kingdom of Spain on the anniversary of Palestine's recognition
At the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister Robert Golob visited Madrid today. On the occasion of the anniversary of Palestine’s recognition, Prime Minister Golob and Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez issued a joint statement, in which they called, among other things, for an immediate end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the respect for international law, and urged Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government to stop the massacre in Gaza.

Forum of Slovenian-Ukrainian Cooperation for recovery and rebuilding in Lviv
The Forum of Slovenian-Ukrainian cooperation: Strengthening Partnership for Recovery and Rebuilding is taking place on 28–30 May in the Ukrainian city of Lviv, as part of the "U-LEAD with Europe" programme. The Forum brings together mayors and representatives of local governments, as well as political representatives and development experts from both countries.
