Croatia introduces a new measure

  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Croatia has widened the list of countries whose nationals must remain in 14-day self-isolation upon entering the country.

The compulsory quarantine applies to all arrivals from the Bela Krajina and Dolenjska regions, while travellers from other parts of Slovenia are required to self-isolate.

In addition, the ordinance on travel ban outside the place of residence applies as of 23 March. Some exemptions are in place (upon presentation of a permission issued by a competent authority) for transport of essential supplies, cross-border workers in certain specified professions, the media, urgent medical assistance, care for family and shopping for necessities, travel to and from work (if absolutely necessary and work cannot be done from home), and emergency services.
