The Division for Analytics and Strategic Development provides analytical support for the ministry’s internal organisational units in substantive areas covered by the ministry, and systemic and methodological support for creators of development planning documents.

Its mission is enforcing a systemic approach to addressing the complex challenges facing contemporary society, which are compelling governments to introduce new models of administration to help build, in effective and timely fashion, the most feasible solutions to key challenges, particularly with regard to climate change, rapid and large-scale technological change, the exhaustion of natural resources, widespread environmental damage, pandemic risks, rising inequality and poverty, demographic changes, global migration flows, and risks in connection with cyber security.
