Medical Services Division

We cover the provision of the medical service, including the planning of specialisations for doctors. We are involved in health workforce planning and monitoring and in negotiations with trade unions and collective bargaining tasks. We manage the administrative procedures for the recognition of professional qualifications for the professions of doctor and doctor of dental medicine obtained abroad and the procedures for the occasional provision of medical services. We issue authorisations to healthcare providers to carry out specialisations, secondment and internships for doctors and doctors of dental medicine. We also conduct administrative proceedings at the second level in the field of work of the Medical Chamber of Slovenia and plan, regulate, monitor and supervise the public authorisations of that Chamber.
