About the Ministry of Defence
The functions relate to the national defence plan and to the development, organisation, equipping, functioning and management of the Slovenian Armed Forces. They also include civil defence preparations, duties related to administrative communications and cryptographic protection within the defence system, military education, organisation and performance of operations for the protection against natural and other disasters, and functions related to the rights and obligations of citizens with respect to defence, civil protection and disaster relief.
