The IT Division manages the system for monitoring the sessions of the Government and its working bodies and governmental information systems under the responsibility of the Secretariat-General.

It prepares analyses, development projects, information and reports concerning informatics. To this end it collects, edits and prepares data for drafting complex material on informatics and participates in the introduction of the quality system.

It conducts expert supervision, drafts documents concerning its area of work required for public calls for tenders, and manages the purchase and maintenance of computer equipment for the Secretariat-General and the Office of the Prime Minister. It also provides technical support to these two bodies and ensures the functioning of their information systems.  

The Division also maintains, manages and controls server and communication infrastructure, provides support to user workstations, and supervises and coordinates the work of external service providers in maintaining hardware and software. It provides technical support for e-sessions of the Government and sets guidelines and standards for the hardware and software used in Government e-sessions for all users. 

It also provides training for users and assists them in using applications. It manages access to the document collections of the Secretariat-General and the Office of the Prime Minister and other databases and governmental information systems managed by the Secretariat-General
