The Government Centre for Informatics strives with its activities for the trust and satisfaction of state organs by studying, planning, co-ordinating, introducing, and assuring the operation of e-commerce in public administration. This is based on the Strategy of of E-commerce in Public Administration until 2004, on unified methodologies and standards, on assuring a unified information telecommunications infrastructure, on e-project common functions of public administration, and on renovated, unified, and verified e-commerce projects of individual organs in public administration.
